Wedding bells r ringin!... for my collegue Amy... she's getting married tis saturday... dinner's at M hotel. & Mr P is invited as well... well, Amy sorta met Mr P b4 on a KL trip abt 1 yr ago & tis will the time whn i can show off my handsome handsome partner to my collegues... i'm not really OUT to all my collegues but if they wan to know...i'm not inhibited

another activity on sunday too! the cashew dOgz club's having a grooming sharing session at our neighbourhood, will bring paris along aft our morning frisbee session... would be great to pick up some pointers & paris may get to meet other furby frens

wanted to ask Mr P to chk wif his ex-collegue Ms Ru if she's keen... she has a nice shih tzu Ben-Ben, nice coz sent for professional grooming mah... & she reads my blog..so better say Ben-Ben looks nice, wahaha.....may read my earlier posts for pix of Ben-Ben, he's a handsome boi... nicely groomed & so very gentle & well-mannered

Raw Feeding & its Objections!

Ever since i told my collegues tat i've started raw feeding Paris.. many of them r so terribly shocked... all kinda negative comments start streaming in... such naive ones like...
1. u better be careful she doesn't bite yr fingers off
2. she will turn blood thirsty & be carnivore... well, dogs' ancestors r wolves & r indeed carnivores..

some show genuine concern, for tat i'm thankful, & gave comments like
1. will raw meat have all the necessary vitamins & minerals, ie. offer a complete & balanced meal?
2. be careful she doesn't choke on chicken bones
3. how abt bacteria on raw food?

even darl voices his objections but he relents la, coz he trusts me on the decision after i read sufficently on the net and m convinced of the benefits of raw feeding.. but he did say something tat hurts me la

yest paris vomitted while i was away fm work & whn i told dear, he said it must due to the raw food i fed him... *sign*

any1 doubting the benefits of raw feedin can juz logon to the net & visit all the web sites tat support commercial food feedin & those that support raw food feedin...1 thing is clear, pet food companies WANT us to believe tat kibbles r best for our pets, even vets r being given incentives by pet food companies to promote their products

proponents of raw feedin hav no hidden agenda... thr is no big company to give them monetary rewards to endorse their products, the meats/fish/bones r available from our local butchers & market place...they r promotin a healthier diet because they tried it our on their pets and genuinely convinced of the benefits. The only motivation comes from a desire to pass this information to the many many othr owners wanting the best for their pets

i'm not realli a football fan, but hey it's the world cup!... the office guys r talkin abt it... i'm beginni to feel the vibes & being the innate gambler at heart, i started bettin as well... legally of coz, thru' the 1 & only Sg Pools!

lost some...win some... but last 2 days & 6 matches were GOOD! won all 6 bets, hehe... Spain & Argentina were in top form...performance was awesome! so thrilled to goals rather than defensive teams

yest's match dar also tag along $30 wif me & won too! so we r goin shoppin tdy!betted total $60 for 3 matches tonite & c how it goes la...

the sticks & cones r mostly for Mr P, i prefer tub ice cream... too bad i dun hav those 'gourmet' brands like Haagen D, Ben's & Jerry's etc la, coz i find them too ex & not really worth the price

Of Siberian Huskies!! PC Show & Salmon Meal

Went to my ex-collegue Jimmy's hse warming earlier... he & his friend rented a landed prop for the sake of their 3 dogs (2 huskies & 1 wawa) aft neighbours complained to HDB & AVa

the male husky's Baby & the female's Princess... got a pic of them below... very majestic lookin...princess a lil overweight thou... may not be as nice as the 8 on Eight Below... but hey, those r show dogs
btw, it's an AJ gatherin la, but the plc not very lighted up so can't c every1 very clearly... Mr P even met 1 of his primary schmate. Knowing Jimmy & his bf's 'pattern', not surprisely most of his guests look like gym goers wif quite beefy bods... *drool*

before tat, we went to PC show 2006 & Mr P got himself a 80GB external hard disk.. wow.. 80Gb? y does 1 need so much space for? my PC's workin ok now & i got myself a multi-card reader to plug the 1Gb mmc card i juz bought to the USB port

so many ppl at suntec city for the PC show....saw a COMPAQ laptop going for $999... tat's kinda cheap...uses AMD processor & has the basic features like 256MB ram, 40gb drive, MS XpHome, combo-dr... but did not buy in the end la, darl can use my dell laptop now tat my PC workin already

bought a slab of salmon for paris at ntuc tis mornin, kinda ex, costs abt $3 & only sufficent for 2 meals, can only let her have the luxury once a week la... read from raw feeding websites tat fish is good due to the high omega 3 & omega 6 content.
