Ben Ben meets Paris!

Mr P's collegue brought her shih tzu to our place tdy, well soon to be ex-collegue coz dear's leaving his company... now tat's another story which i will tell some other day la

& boy is he BIG!... name's Ben Ben... a 6kg 3-yr old male... was a little worried for Paris' safety initially coz it doesn't seem a fair match whn they were sniffin' & sizin' each othr at the open space below my block..

'Hey! pick some1 yr own size' i wanted to shout aloud but wat a gentle giant Ben Ben turned out to be. Think Paris was a lil intimated initially by his sheer size & acts submissively, & Ben Ben being a sexually active male, starts sniffin' at whr he should be sniffin'...R(A)

but b4 long, the bitch was already growlin & start to paw aggressively at Ben Ben... tat's too close for comfort & we sorta hav to stop the intimacy.. don't wan Ben Ben to get 'scratch marks' on his face neither wan Paris to get hurt if Ben Ben retaliates

now Ben Ben's a good natured fellow & really good wif ppl, soon he followed me ard the house & licked affectionately... how i wish Paris is more like him... aren't silky pups supposed to be affectionate as well?

BUT our Paris seems a lil aloof... yes she wags her tail whn she sees us, yes she whines for us at times, but guess we expect more fm her like coming to our lap or paw us for a pettin, but mostly she bites! aft tat we punish her physically like hit her bottom...

• wonderin if tat distance her from us?
• wonderin if she still luv us?

a lil sad whn i think of all these... i sorta tell myself i will try not hit her in future but juz use my tone of voice to control & discipline her... i dun wan her to be afraid of me or treat me juz like a food & shelter provider...

i wan her to be part of the family... i wan her to luv me & Mr P wholeheartedly!
